I asked my doctor this question once. She said the 3 or 7 day treatments are better because the one-dose might not be enough. I have used them with success with a mild infection, but they still recommend holding off on sex for a few days. yeast infections suck, so I’d play it safe, but it’s your decision.
Ok sorry , but Im feeling a little sorry for myself and just wanted to vent a little. Im 35 weeks, and working everyday, (mostly) its 103 degrees outside, Ive had an upper respirtory infection, so Im on numerous meds and breathing treatments. I have to give myself insulin shots every night becuase of the gestational diabetes, and now to top it all off I have a yeast infection. I love my baby, and Im happy to be pregnant with him, but I will be so glad when all this is over. It gets a little depressing feeling like crap all the time. Ok Im done, just needed to get it off of my chest. Thanks ………..

I"m snowed in currently and there is no way I can get out until tomorrow to get my OTC treatment.
However this yeast infection is killing, what can I do to treat it at home? I have no yogurt, and only powdered garlic.
