I am 29 weeks pregnant..and I keep trying to get an appt to see my doctor for a yeast infection but they keep telling me to call back the next day..its been a week now and this is driving me insane! i think i have a yeast infection because i have been itching and my discharge has an odor that almost smells like beer.. i am not totally sure but I was just wondering if it was bad to use an over the counter cream or medication if you werent totally sure it is a yeast infection. I have been taking an antibiotic for my acne for a while now and i think that may be what has caused it also i have been outside alot in the heat so that could also be a factor.
My gyno says they work great and reccommends them (and they do, I have used many times) but you have to know its def a yeast infection. There are a couple other infections that are not yeast and you have to get a prescription from your doc so it’s best to make an appt or at least just call to be 100% sure.
