I finished my OTC yeast infection treatment 3 days ago, and so far it’s been normal, milky white discharge, no itching, but today when i checked I saw some small white chunks a long with the milky white stuff; kind of reminded me of the medication maybe still being up there and it’s slowly coming out; but I just wanted to know if this normal. I am not itching, and it doesn’t smell weird or anything. Thanks!

Sounds like it’s reminence of the treatment. If it continues for more than 48 hrs, i would suggest booking a follow up.

I’ve had an infection for several months. I went a few months without telling anyone because I was embarrassed, but when I finally caved and asked my mom for some OTC treatments, they didn’t work or only worked temporarily. Now my menstruation cycle (which is usually normal) is almost a week late and I’m getting concerned.

No yeast infection alone can not make that cycle abnormalities but for sure as long as you have recurrent and persistant infection that is equal to hormonal imbalance…..
so you must checked up
good luck

I’ve had this booger since December and I can’t get rid of it. I’ve used 4 packages of OTC treatment and eaten about 5 gallons of yogurt. Yesterday the doctor gave me Diflucan and swore it would clear up with one dose (he gave me 2 more doses just in case). I’m still itchy and have discharge this morning. My husband had it too but got rid of his quickly and we haven’t had sex since. Any suggestions please?

WOW for it to last that long I would think there is a possibility of a bacterial infection instead of just a yeast infection. Has your doctor checked for that? If it is a bacterial infection as well, he could prescribe you some antibiotics. I know this sounds gross but you may also want to try buying some acidophoulous tablets that are the chewable soft kind and put a panty-liner on and insert one inside you and let it dissolve. I did this a few days in a row along with other medication and yogurt before and it helped.

I recently switched birth control pills, and I keep battling a yeast infection. I’ve tried OTC treatments, it clears it up only temporarily. Anyone else ever deal with this?
Can it be due to switching pills, or could it indicate something worse?

I know there are several reason they could keep coming back. To name a few that I know of, it could be something as simple as if you have started using a new laundry soap, bath soap ect… I searched it for you and below is what I found, I also put the link to that site for you to reference.

The reasons why this can happen
There are a couple of good and popular reasons why women are suffering from recurrent yeast infections. The most popular reason is the treatment be applied to the vaginal yeast infection is only curing the symptoms on the outside of your body.

Everything seems to be going fine during your treatment, and you’re praying that this is the time it doesn’t come back. I know how you feel I’ve been there. The cause of your yeast infection is however not being treated. If you don’t find the real cause of your yeast infection you will never cure yourself.

Intestinal yeast infection
The biggest cause of recurrent yeast infections is an intestinal yeast infection. If the yeast in your intestines isn’t killed along with the yeast in your vagina then the yeast just works its way back to your vagina through your digestive and urinary tracts.

An anti Candida protocol needs to be started so all the yeast is killed at the same time.

The yeast could be resistant
Another reason a yeast infection will keep coming back is it has built up a resistance to the medication you’re using. This can happen when you have an intestinal yeast infection, or if your yeast infection is being caused by a health issue or illness.

It’s best to see your doctor if you haven’t already if you’re suffering from chronic yeast infections. Your doctor can rule out any health problems or illnesses that could be the underlying cause of your yeast infections.

Your doctor unfortunately can’t help you if you’re suffering from an internal yeast infection. All your doctor can do is prescribe you more anti fungal drugs which will make your intestinal yeast infection worse.

Anti candida protocol
If you are suffering from recurrent/chronic yeast infections then the Cure Your Yeast Infection Naturally ebook will help you cure yourself.

Whatever you decide to do I hope you cure yourself as soon as possible.
